The Punxsutawney Area Amateur Radio Club, of Punxsutawney PA, is once again hosting the “Groundhog Day Special Event Station” on February 4, 2012 from 0900 until 1600 or so. We have new this year a special event callsign “W3P” and as before there will be available a certificate for an SASE. We will also E-QSL as well. We are planning on operating on 20M, 40M, and on 2M with 147.390 off the WAN and via 147.105 on the WAN. We do not have to operate 100% of the time on the WAN and will monitor it for traffic once we get started after 0900.
